Current transformers (CTs) provide a simple, inexpensive, and accurate means of measuring current flow in SolarEdge Energy Meters. When ordering an Energy Meter, order a compatible current transformer as well.

SolarEdge meter with Modbus connection for one to three phases and 230/400 V. Easy to install, SolarEdge’s Energy Meter is also compatible with a wide selection of current transformers. It connects to SolarEdge inverters or the Commercial Gateway via RS485 and its operational status is clearly indicated via LEDs located at the front of the meter.

The Commercial Gateway connects to SolarEdge inverters, environmental sensors, and meters, and transfers monitoring data to the SolarEdge Monitoring Platform and optionally, to a third-party data logger.
